A continuation of former ANTI's Art Director Sollin Sæle and Elke Vindenese's campaign #beholdoslo went viral, popping in several cities in Norway. #beholdbergen is one of them. The idea started with the intention of keeping local shops alive during the pandemic, encouraging people to buy local products with a clever guerrilla-style campaign. The stunt created focus and awareness of the fragility of small local shops affected by the pandemic, in danger of disappearing to be replaced by monopolies. By spreading the campaign in the city of Bergen, we hoped to create consciousness of the importance of these small businesses, making the city unique and special.
The stunt received much media attention receiving a Visuelt Nomination and diploma in 2021. Read about it here (in Norwegian only): Visuelt: Juryens kommentar
